We’re changing our Mothering Sunday display this year from candles to ribbons and from inside Holy Trinity to the outside of the tower.

We intend to attach ribbons to the flagpole or some other part of the tower (trials have not yet taken place). On these ribbons will be written the names of mothers or other women who have played a significant part in your life. You’ll find the link to a form below on which you can submit those names to us. A note to ladies completing this form – please put forward your own name; you don’t need to leave it to someone else such as a relative to nominate you.

You can get your form to us by posting it through the letterbox of one of the addresses on this form. You’ll see they are the same ones you could use for the Christmas Tree Festival raffle.

If you’d like to include a donation for church funds this would be very welcome but please don’t feel under any obligation to do so.

We hope that the ribbons will be in place for the week following Mothering Sunday so we hope you’ll be able to see it. We also intend to compile a short film of the project which you’ll be able to see on the website.

You’re also very welcome to join us for our Zoom Mothering Sunday service at 10.30am on that day. If you’ve not done this before do contact the Church office or one of the clergy.
